There Was Jesus…

Every time I tried to make it on my own Every time I tried to stand and start to fall And all those lonely roads that I have traveled on There was Jesus When the life I built came crashing to the ground When the friends I had were nowhere to be found I couldn’t see it then but I can see it now There was Jesus In the waiting, in the searching In the healing and the hurting Like a blessing buried in the broken pieces Every minute, every […]

Love As If Your Eternity Depends On It…

“Love as if your eternity depends on it.” This quote was on a church sign that I have passed a couple times. I have pondered on this quote for several weeks before really letting it sink into my heart. LOVE as if your eternity depends on it… Jesus tells us in Matthew that the second commandment is to love thy neighbor as thyself. Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all […]

Repent…Forsake…Endure…

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one […]

LOVE…

—–*Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; BEARS all things, believes all things, hopes all things, ENDURES all things. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8*—– We love him, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians […]

2020…Love Like Jesus! Expect Gods Blessings!!

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the […]

True Love Was Born In A Manger…

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, […]

Gideon And The Fleece… Ask, Seek, Keep Knocking!

For a couple of weeks I have been praying, earnestly seeking God to show me a sign like He gave Gideon twice (laying out the fleece)… (Judges 6:36-40 see these scriptures for Gideon) I needed reassurance that I should keep praying the same prayer I have been praying for a while now. I would like to share with you what has happened in the past week. Thursday morning, on my way to the doctors office, the radio was talking about Elijah praying for rain. “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain.” 1 Kings 18:41-45 […]

If It Satisfies You Lord… It Satisfies Me…

Oh, how I love Jesus…Oh, how I love Jesus…Oh, how I love Jesus, Because He first loved me! The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will. Proverbs 21:1 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will… Ephesians 1:11 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of HIS good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 […]
