Oh, What a Blessing…

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.  Romans 12:10-15

“I will be praying for you…” Oh, how joyful it makes my heart to hear those words from someone. To know that someone cares that much about my life and my walk with the Lord. Oh, what a blessing it is for me to pray with or for someone. I am so thankful that my friends, family, church, clients, and readers ask me to pray for them. We all need prayer… Through the storms of our lives we all need to know we can count on others to lift us up in prayer to the King. I am so thankful for my little country church because they do just that for me and others. When someone has a need or even someone goes to the altar for a need, people will lay hands on that person and pray silently or aloud for that person. Lately, I have been going through my own trial and I have had so many wonderful people expressing to me they would pray. (And I know they are because I feel HIS presence, peace, joy, strength and see Him working…) “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much…” I know without a doubt those people love me and are praying for me. I would like to take the time and opportunity to lift every single person up to the Lord who has ever said a prayer for me…

Heavenly Father, I humbly come before Your throne.. I thank you for Jesus dying on the cross from my sins… Lord, I lift up everyone who has ever prayed for me, I pray you touch down upon them with an unexpected blessing or answer a need they have in their life. I am so thankful for each person who has been so wonderful to me. How blessed I am to have such amazing friends, family, church family, customers, and readers. I am so grateful for each that have touched my life in some special way. I lift them up Father, help them feel Your loving presence extra today. I pray you bless them in an extra way today that has them look up and say, “Thank you God, I know that was You!”… Those who are heavy laden with worry, give them peace… those who are sick, I pray for your healing hand… those who are lacking joy, I pray you touch their heart with joy that overflows… those who are being lead astray and attacked by the enemy, I pray you guide them back in a loving stern way and protect them from the enemies tactics…To those that I don’t know the need, Father you do… and I lift it up!…I thank you for every dear person in my life that has been so gracious and kind to me. I will never fail to give you the PRAISE Lord…In all this I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep… My heartfelt thanks to all of you that have prayed and are still praying for me… praying that Gods will always prevails. Lord, I praise you for molding me and shaping me everyday, through each trial and blessing…I know YOU are in control! For where I have been to where I am now, thank you my King… What grace you have bestowed! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.” Romans 8:28

Gods love to all of you! *Blessed*Betsy*

  1. Betsy what a beautiful prayer. What a blessing to us from you. I know our Father in heaven hears our prayers. I pray for you right now that your burden would be lifted. I pray for peace and strength upon your life. I pray God would continue to use you in a way that glorifies Him. May you continue to feel His presence in your life giving the praise to Him. Reading what the Lord has layed on your heart blesses my heart.
